This contraption is a Neti-Pot nasal flush apparatus.

I was sick with a cold a few days ago and was a sneezy, coughy, phlegm filled mess. Snot filled tissue papers everywhere. I was all congested and couldn’t breathe n’shit so my mom brought me this Neti-Pot thing. I didn’t use it because I was scared of the thought of voluntarily putting salt water up my nose for the fear of it burning and giving me a headache like when you go swimming and the water goes up your nose and you feel like you’re brain is melting. That’s what I wanted to avoid.

Now that I’m no longer sick, I still have the lingering phlegm, and my mom said this gets rid of it. So, I tried it. What you do is you fill the pot with 8oz of luke warm water, and those 2 salt packet thingys. You put the spout to 1 of your nostrils then you tilt your head and the flush is supposed to travel all through your nasal cavity and out through the next nostril cleansing out your nose.

When I started, I felt like I was drowning, so I panicked. I thought/felt as thought the water was going to travel down my esophagus hence why I felt like I was drowning. After I stopped panicking, it started to work and flow freely out of the other nostril and I was amazed at all the phlegm and grossness that flowed out of my nose. 

I will continue to use this Neti-Pot thing as long as I have anything that effects the my nose and breathing. It actually works. I’m kinda impressed to say the least lol
